The rights and duties of the company and the user in relation to Rush Hour Hero.
1. Purpose
These terms set out the rights, duties and responsibilities of A17s (the "Company") and users in relation to the mobile game Rush Hour Hero and related services (the "Service").
2. Definitions
"Service" means Rush Hour Hero and all related services provided on a user's device.
"User" means a person who uses the Service under these terms.
"Account" means the identifier the Company assigns to identify a user and store their progress.
"In-game currency" means virtual data usable inside the Service, divided into paid currency purchased for consideration and free currency granted through events or rewards.
"Paid Service" means services and content a user obtains by paying a price.
"App market" means the open-market operator (such as Google Play) through which the Service is installed and payments are processed.
3. Publication and amendment of these terms
The Company publishes these terms inside the Service or on this website so that users can read them at any time.
The Company may amend these terms within the limits of applicable law.
Amendments are announced at least 7 days before they take effect, stating the effective date and the reason. Changes that are unfavourable or material to users are announced at least 30 days before, with the previous and new text shown side by side.
A user who does not accept an amendment may stop using the Service and terminate the agreement. Continuing to use the Service after the effective date is deemed acceptance.
4. Formation of the agreement
The agreement is formed when a user accepts these terms and runs the Service.
The Service can be started without a sign-up procedure; in that case the Company creates an account keyed to a device identifier.
The Company may refuse or later terminate use where a user has impersonated another person, applied for an unlawful purpose, was previously restricted for breaching these terms, or where provision is technically impossible.
5. Account management
Users are responsible for their own account and may not transfer, lend, sell or pledge it to a third party.
If an account is not linked to a social account, changing devices or deleting the app may make progress unrecoverable. The Company provides account linking and is not liable for such loss absent its intent or negligence.
A user who learns that their account has been stolen or is being used by another person must notify the Company immediately.
6. Provision of the Service
The Service is provided 24 hours a day, all year round, as a matter of principle.
The Service may be suspended for scheduled or emergency maintenance, equipment failure or traffic surges, force majeure, or a suspension by the app market or a telecommunications provider.
Scheduled maintenance is announced in advance; in urgent cases notice may be given afterwards.
7. Change and termination of the Service
The Company may change the content of the Service for quality, operational or technical reasons, and announces material changes in advance.
If the Company discontinues the Service, it announces the reason, the date and the compensation method at least 30 days before the closing date.
On discontinuation, unused paid currency is refunded in accordance with applicable law and the Korean Content User Protection Guidelines. Free currency and already-used items are not refundable.
8. Paid Services and payment
Payments are processed through the app market's payment system; billing, approval and cancellation follow that market's policy.
Prices, contents and availability periods are displayed on the purchase screen before purchase.
A minor must obtain the consent of their legal representative; a payment made without such consent may be cancelled by the minor or their legal representative.
Where the Company identifies an error or a duplicate charge in payment processing, it corrects it and takes the necessary measures.
9. Withdrawal of purchase and refunds
The requirements and procedure are set out in Refunds, which forms part of these terms. In summary:
Paid currency and items that are unused may be withdrawn within 7 days of purchase.
Content that is consumed immediately or whose effect has already occurred may be excluded from withdrawal under Article 17(2) of the Korean Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce; the Company discloses this before purchase.
Where the cause lies with the Company (mis-grant, duplicate charge, outage), a refund is made regardless of the period.
10. In-game currency and items
In-game currency and items are a licence to use them inside the Service; users acquire no ownership or property right in them.
They cannot be exchanged for cash and may not be traded outside the Service or transferred to another person.
Items with a fixed period expire at the end of that period, and all currency and items are extinguished when an account is deleted.
11. Random-reward (gacha) items
The Company discloses the types and supply rates of random-reward items both inside the game and on this website, as required by the Korean Game Industry Promotion Act.
The published rates are generated from the values actually applied in the game, so a change to the rates is reflected immediately.
Results are determined and recorded on the server, and can be checked at any time on the Item Odds page.
User obligations
Users must not:
use another person's account, payment method or personal data without authorisation;
deliberately exploit a defect or bug, or spread it to others;
interfere with normal operation using automation (macros, bots), unauthorised clients or memory tampering;
reverse-engineer, copy, distribute or modify the Service, or attempt to do so;
trade accounts, currency or items for cash, or advertise or broker such trades;
fraudulently reverse payments or abuse the refund process;
infringe the intellectual property or reputation of the Company or a third party;
otherwise breach applicable law, these terms or public order and morals.
Restrictions on use
Where a user breaches the obligations above, the Company may issue a warning, restrict features, suspend the account temporarily or permanently, and recover wrongfully obtained currency or items, in proportion to the breach.
The Company notifies the user of the reason and the period. Where immediate action is required to protect the Service, notice may follow the action.
A user may object within 30 days of notice through Support; where the objection is well founded, use is restored immediately.
Content written by users
Rights in the content a user writes in inquiries or reports remain with the user.
The Company uses that content only to handle the inquiry, diagnose faults and improve the Service.
Content that breaches applicable law or infringes another's rights may be removed.
Protection of personal data
The Company protects personal data in accordance with applicable law; the items processed and the methods used are set out in the Privacy Policy.
Limitation of liability
The Company is not liable for failure to provide the Service caused by force majeure, including natural disasters, national emergencies or network failures.
The Company is not liable, absent its intent or gross negligence, for damage caused by the user (careless device management, leaked account information, data lost because the account was never linked).
The Company is not liable, absent its intent or negligence, for damage caused by third-party services such as app markets, carriers or social login providers.
For services and items provided free of charge, the Company is not liable absent intent or gross negligence.
Nothing in this article reduces the liability imposed on the Company by applicable law.
Damages
Where the Company or a user causes loss to the other by breaching these terms, the party in breach is liable for that loss.
Dispute resolution
The Company and users shall negotiate in good faith to resolve any dispute arising from use of the Service.
Failing agreement, a user may apply for mediation to the Content Dispute Resolution Committee (www.kcdrc.kr) or the Korea Consumer Agency (www.kca.go.kr).
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and any action shall be brought before the court having jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.
Addendum
These terms take effect on September 9, 2026 (document version 1.0).
Matters not covered here follow applicable law and the notices given inside the Service.
